Liverpool could be without Roberto Firmino for their opening match of the Champions League of the season after a horrible eye injury.

The Brazilian forward was involved in a horrible clash with Jan Vertonghen during the 2-1 victory over Tottenham at Wembley on Saturday.

Vertonghen’s finger went directly into the eye socket of Firmino, causing the ace of Liverpool to be replaced with a bloody bandage on his face.

Firmino and Liverpool have given updates on the condition of the player of 26 years, indicating that it is fine and still not ruled out the meeting with the PSG in Anfield.
